Fidelis Explorer is designed with a privacy-first approach. The application minimizes the collection of personal information and keeps portfolio data under the user's control whenever possible.

Personal Data

Fidelis Explorer does not require a user account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or other personal identification information in order to use the application.

Portfolio Data

Your portfolio is not stored on a central server or cloud database.

The My List portfolio exists only within your browser session and can be exported or imported as a JSON file that remains entirely under your control.

Portfolio holdings, owned bond symbols, quantities, purchase prices, YTM values, accrued interest, imported JSON files and exported JSON files are never transmitted to analytics services or third parties.

Anonymous Analytics

When enabled in production, Fidelis Explorer may use privacy-friendly Umami Analytics to better understand how the application is used and to improve the overall user experience.

Analytics are limited to anonymous application events such as:

Analytics never include portfolio contents, financial holdings, imported or exported files, or any personally identifiable information.

Cookies

A technical session cookie is created only after user consent and is required for the My List functionality.

This cookie is used exclusively to separate browser sessions and enable local portfolio features. It is not used for advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking.

Data Sharing

Fidelis Explorer does not sell, rent or disclose personal information to third parties.

Anonymous analytics data, when enabled, are processed solely to understand application usage and improve the product.

Data Accuracy

Although every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of calculations and market information, users should always verify important financial information using official sources, the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) and/or their broker before making investment decisions.
